The Frederick Douglass Ireland Curriculum (FDIC) event is a groundbreaking initiative that aims to engage student audiences with the inspiring stories of Frederick Douglass in Ireland through innovative teaching methods. Now in its 5th edition, this event is an exciting opportunity for educators to embrace new perspectives and strategies and to expand the network of international educators dedicated to teaching influential figures like Frederick Douglass. During the event, educators from the United States who possess extensive experience in teaching Douglass in classrooms of different schools and institutions or have otherwise engaged in teaching about Douglass, will share their valuable knowledge and expertise with the educators of the FDIC working group and guests Molly DePippo and Dr. Jack Kaufman-McKivigan.
